Well, let’s do take 2 of this so it will share. I decided tonight to start a blog. I’ve been debating it for awhile and actually started one or two years ago and didn’t really do anything with them.
I have many reasons to do a blog. This year is the year I turn the big 5-0, so it’s a year of looking back and looking forward. I’m also planning on having major weight loss surgery by the end of the year, hopefully, this summer. And finally, this is going to be a big political year, with the presidential election, along with other national, state, and local issues. Now I realize some of you don’t agree with me politically, and that’s fine. If you know a blog post I make is about politics and you want to skip it, that’s fine. I promise very few posts will be political in nature. I also though don’t know if I’m going to make this a daily thing (or several posts in a day) or if it will be an every few days thing, or what it will be. Just keep looking for my posts on Facebook or whatever other way you want to follow.
The reason that tipped it for me tonight is that with passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, the Republicans in the Senate decided to make it a political issue before Mr. Scalia is even buried, so I made a comment on a USA Today post on Facebook that got over 300 likes which are considerable for a post on a Saturday night, so I figured I like posting what I feel and maybe there will be people who will want to read my thoughts, but again I may post on TV, sports, the weather, or any other topic I fancy, not just politics.
